Field Locations

Belchertown Little League leverages several baseball diamonds in Belchertown.  We are grateful for the Belchertown School and Recreation Departments for their cooperation in allowing the League to use several of the town fields.

Hulmes-Warner Park

59 State St. (Rt. 202), Belchertown MA 01007

Affectionately known as "Mini-Fenway", this facility was created through the generous financial and volunteer contributions back in 2006 that continue to inspire today. The field is a smaller replica of Boston Red Sox's famed Fenway Park, featuring a "Green Monster" left field wall, and the various outfield dimensions of the famous park.  It sits on land leased from the Department of Developmental Services (formerly part of the Belchertown State School) as a partnership in Belchertown Little League's advocation of providing mentally and physically challenged youth the opportunity to play baseball through its Challenger Division league.  The field was dedicated to the memory of Hubert Warner, a long time umpire in western Massachusetts and former resident of the Belchertown State School, and Jack Hulmes, a major financial sponsor and supporter of the Belchertown Little League.

Hodgen Fields

70 State St. (Rt. 202), Belchertown MA 01007

The original baseball diamonds of Belchertown Little League in 2004, the "Major" and "Minor" diamonds were created by volunteers, especially Jim Hodgen, owner of Hodgen Landscaping who we honor as the fields' namesake.  Located in the rear of the former Belchertown State School's Foley Recreational Field next to Lake Wallace, the fields are in transition and currently being redeveloped by the Belchertown School System.  The Belchertown Little League looks forward to cooperation with the School System and Recreation department for continued use of these fields/diamonds for the enjoyment of the players of the league.
